IN THE BRASILIAN AMAZONIA

Two missionary teams composed of priest and lay people are living the mission in the Brasilian Amazonia since 1992.

At present, 2 teams are at work in Manaus, a large industrial city of more than 2 millions inhabitants, situated at the junction of the Solimões and Negro rivers. The members of the 2 teams are involved with the communities residing in the popular quarters of the city and also in missionary animation and formation in the region. Already, lay people from Brazil are with us in the missions of Honduras and Peru, and other are preparing themselves with us for the missionary priesthood.
