Four important events

Dear friends,

Four important events are taking place at the central House this month of June:

-         From June 4 to June 8, meeting of the formation Council with the representatives of those involved in the formation programs. That meeting will take stock of how is lived our formation in the various continents where we work and will draw lines of action for the future of the formation.

 

-         From June 4 to June 15, meeting of six priests of our Society who were ordained during the last six years: Denis Carrier, Émile Étémé, Renato Togon, Paul Too, Ergete Tesfaye and Teodoro Baquedano. All of them underwent their theological studies in Kenya, and that is why we call them « the Kenya generation ». They will share their experiences among themselves and with us.

 

-         On June 14, commitment of six new associate lay missionaries: Sonia Allaire, Sylvie Brazeau, Marley May Dacanay, Julie Fecteau, Mary Ann Ofialda and Monica Shuck. Moreover, renewal of association of Marta Batista for seven years and of Majorie Jacob for six years. What a source of hope for the mission!

-         On June 15, celebration of the priesthood anniversaries of Jean Langlois (65 years); Yvan Bergeron, François Brunelle, Roger De Montigny and Robert Bernier (60 years); Frank Bélec, Bernard Boucher, Claude Lacaille, Jean-Louis Nadeau, Robert Nolin, Eloy Roy and Jesús Valladares (50 years). We congratulate you all for your fidelity and perseverance.

The Holy Spirit is at work in the world and in our missionary Society: He makes of us His collaborators to set on fire the world with His love
