BRAZIL :VOCATION, GRÂCE AND MISSION

Every year the Seminario São José of the Archdiocese of Manaus celebrates the feast of the Seminary. This year it took place on 26 August 2023 with the theme: Vocation, Grace and Mission; under the motto: "They recognised him in the breaking of the bread" (Lk. 24; 13-35). This theme is connected with the great feast of the World Mission Sunday to be celebrated next October: "Hearts on fire, feet on the way".
 
Besides food, songs, dances and other recreational activities, there was a vocation fair, where different congregations and missionary groups were able to share their history and charisms creatively. Young people and adults, including children, visited the different stands and asked questions to the missionaries and other members of the consecrated life.

 The SME was present at the vocation fair, an occasion to interact with many young people from different movements, as well as an occasion to strengthen our networks with the local church, building bridges of mutual collaboration.
 
It was a beautiful celebration with the seminarians, priests, nuns, missionaries and also the parishioners of the different parishes and missionary zones.

It was also a good opportunity to exchange our beautiful and unique history and charism as SME family. The fruits?... We offer it to God and let God work in the hearts of the people who listen to it.
