Diaconal Ordination of
Raphael Mulwa Mbuva and Michael Ochieno Nadebu

Service d'Animation Missionnaire
Last Saturday, March 1st, the diaconal ordination of our companions Raphael Mulwa Mbuva and Michael Ochieno Nadebu took place. This event was held at La Guadalupe Parish in Nairobi, Kenya, and was presided over by Monsignor Rodrigo Mejía Saldarriaga, SJ, Apostolic Vicar Emeritus of Soddo, Ethiopia.

Called to the ministry of diaconal service in the Church, these young missionaries have generously embraced the ad gentes mission, committing themselves to bringing the Gospel beyond borders through the Quebec Foreign Mission Society. The celebration brought together the community of Hekima College, the faithful of La Guadalupe Parish, and the families of the ordained, united in prayer and fraternity for this significant moment.

The ceremony was broadcast live on the YouTube channels of Hekima College (@hekimahuc) and the Quebec Foreign Mission Society (@missionsetrangeresduquebec), allowing friends, families, and missionary communities from around the world to participate in this great feast of service and mission.

May Raphael and Michael’s vocation be fruitful, and may their ministry be a source of blessing for the communities to which they will be sent.

"The greatest among you must be your servant"
