Priestly and diaconal ordinations

With great joy, the Quebec Foreign Mission Society (QFMS) invites you to accompany in prayer the priestly ordination of Deacon Joseph Jalang’o and the diaconal ordination of seminarian Denis Kioko.

The celebration will take place on September 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Adams-Arcade, Nairobi, Kenya, and will be presided over by Bishop Rodrigo Mejía Saldarriaga, SJ.

We give thanks to God for our brothers’ vocational journey and for their willingness to serve the Gospel and the mission.

May this new step in their lives be a source of hope, generous self-giving, and missionary fruitfulness in the service of the Church and all peoples.
